Let's knock ALS out of the park!
|
You may recall the story of Kathy McAllister, mother of one of our favorite employees, who died of ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) almost exactly a year ago. Heather is again raising money for ALS Research. Click the link to read a letter from Heather about the disease, her mother, and how you can help. Heather ALS letter.pdf (24K) |

It Works!! Beer Bros. Grey Water Project
|
The Beer Bros. are commited to doing our part for the future of our planet. Thus,we proudly sponsored a graduate scholarship with the University of Regina to create and study the viability of a prototype greywater recycling system. And the laboratory model that student Wayne Chung has developed is working just as planned! Great news and hopefully soon we can look to install a prototype in live action at Beer Bros.. To learn more about our exciting initiative, check out the GreyWater Project on the Newsletter page. Newsletter |

Multiple award winning local restaurateurs and owners of the Willow on Wascana – Chef Moe Mathieu, Darren Carter, Greg Hanwell, James Taylor, Shaadie Musleh, and Dave Burke – have now opened their second restaurant in the heart of downtown. Named after its feature cuisine infused with the distinctive ingredient of beer, Beer Bros. Bakery & Cuisine will contain four components: a quick-serve deli counter, ready to take out pre-prepared, home-cooked style meals, a casual upscale dining restaurant, and a lounge. |
| “Beer cuisine stems from the idea that beer is the new wine. Different beers have unique tastes and characteristics and all menu choices will have some type of beer used as an ingredient,” says Moe Mathieu, Chef of Beer Bros. Bakery & Cuisine. In addition, beer pairings will be suggested that complement each meal, elevating the dining experience. “It’s not really being done yet in Saskatchewan, but we’re sure people will love it.” Part of the beauty of the building is its heritage quality and it is important to us to respect the historical significance of the Northern Bank The Regina Downtown Business Improvement District (Regina Downtown BID) is pleased to welcome Beer Bros. Bakery & Cuisine to downtown. |
